Carmelo Esteban "Charmel"

A mediados de los 90 empieza a colaborar con los estudios mas prestigiosos de Zaragoza en fotografía de reportaje social y retrato. Sin abandonar estas disciplinas, ya en el nuevo milenio la docencia pasa a ser para él una actividad prioritaria. Durante el periodo 2003-2006 forma parte del profesorado el Taller Fotografico Spectrum-Sotos, impartiendo clases de fotografìa clàsica. En enero de 2005, asiste a un taller de bodegones del C.T.A impartido por el profesor Pedro J. Fatas; descubrir los secretos de los reflejos metálicos y del cristal se convertira a partir de este momento en una autentica obsesiòn....

From middle of the 90 he collaborates with the more prestigious studies of Saragossa in photography of social and portrait areas. Without leaving these disciplines, already in the new millenium the teaching happens to be for him a priority activity. During the period 2003-2006 the Photographic Workshop forms a part of the professorship Spectrum-groves, giving classes of classic photography. In January, 2005, he is present at a workshop of taverns of the C.T.A given by the teacher Pedro J. Fatas; to discover the secrets of the metallic and crystal reflections and becomes from this moment in a obsesion for him.

Desde entonces y muy a su pesar, como tantos y tantos otros, se ha visto obligado a arrinconar cámaras, y cambiar rollos por tarjetas, y el laboratorio de blanco y negro, y el chapoteo de los liquidos por horas y horas pegado frente a un ordenador. Aun así, siempre hay un rollo cargado en una de las viajas camaras, y listo para disparar.
